"What a trip! We were able to spend three days on the water with John, but from hour one it was very evident that John is dialed into this fishery. He had us catching fish using as array of techniques. We caught them with dry flies, nymphing, and throwing big streamers on weighted lines. We would spend a few hours catching nice numbers of fish, but would then change gears and hunt big trophy trout with success!! The trip absolutely exceeded my expectations. (Not to mention catching a personal best 25” brown trout. But that’s a whole other story!!)
The fishing was amazing, but what made the trip really special was the guiding and top notch service John provided. His teaching and coaching skills may only be rivaled by his ability to run a drift boat. And his professional demeanor and passion for this fishery really brought the whole trip full circle.
